This Matcha Latte is my go-to in the a.m. Matcha is powdered green tea from Japan loaded with antioxidants and thought to increase brain function, energy and help with weight loss. My body no longer tolerated coffee in the morning. It was much too acidic so this was a healthier morning pick me up.
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Cup of Ice
1 tsp. of unsweetened Matcha green tea powder
1 scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder of your choice (plant-based vegan is my fave)
Optional Sweetener--a couple of pitted dates
Blend all of the ingredients up and enjoy!
